I’m Farah Walahi, founder of The Afghan Florist, a Los Angeles–based floral studio specializing in sculptural floral design for weddings, editorial productions, luxury events, and thoughtfully curated deliveries.

 

My work is deeply inspired by my Afghan heritage and a lifelong appreciation for beauty, art, and nature. I believe flowers have the power to transform spaces, evoke emotion, and create meaningful moments. Every arrangement is designed with intention, embracing natural movement, refined color palettes, and the fleeting beauty of seasonal blooms. I'm passionate about using my work to give back. By partnering with Hand To Hand Sadaqah Group, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, aid continues to reach Afghan girls who bravely pursue education despite the ban, delivering books, clothing, backpacks, and other essentials in hopes of a brighter future. This allows floristry to carry not only beauty, but purpose.
